Which camera brands do you use?
We use Ubiquiti, EverFocus, and Axis cameras. Models, recorders, software, and compatibility are selected around the agreed system.
Are your camera systems wireless?
No. All of our camera systems are wired for quality and reliability. We plan the cabling, network connections, and power requirements with you before equipment is ordered.
Do I need an alarm system to get cameras?
No. ReadySet camera systems can stand on their own or be planned alongside an alarm. The equipment and any integration are confirmed before you proceed.
Can I use cameras I already own?
We can review them. Compatibility depends on the cameras, recorder, software, connections, and any existing service arrangements. We confirm the options rather than assuming every device can be reused.
Where is the video stored?
That depends on the agreed equipment and services. Tell us whether you want local recording, cloud storage, or help choosing. We confirm the supported options, retention, and any recurring costs before you decide.
Does recording mean someone is watching my cameras?
No. Recording, remote viewing, and alarm monitoring are separate functions. Do not assume live video review, intervention, or dispatch is included.
Can you install the cameras for me?
ReadySet is a self-installation offering. Alpha Protection provides local professional installation separately within its service area. Ask about availability if you need on-site work.
